Capabilities
MercIT Labs is a small engineering practice. The technical work is led by a senior infrastructure and cybersecurity engineer with nearly two decades of government and enterprise information technology experience, holding an active CISSP and PMP and a master's degree in information technology.
Experience
Nearly two decades of infrastructure work in enterprise, field, and regional-scale environments, delivered globally. The work spanned three technical disciplines usually held by three different people:
Data operations. Systems administration, virtualization, deployment infrastructure, database and application support, logistics and health information systems.
Network management. Enterprise and field network design, implementation, and sustainment. Routing and switching, circuit management, and network operations across security domains.
Information protection. Cybersecurity compliance, vulnerability management, communications security, and information assurance under NIST-based risk management frameworks.
Building, defending, and operating the same systems teaches you where each discipline's assumptions break the other two. That's the reason the software here looks the way it does.
